Good day, this is Lime.

First of all, we'd like to thank all of the participants who took part in the discussion about TERA's enhancement crystal system over the past two weeks. This system lets you socket crystals that enhance your character's abilities in your equipment!

We have summarized all of your valuable opinions about the enhancement crystal system. We hope this will serve as an opportunity for additional discussion.

What would you like to see in TERA's enhancement crystal system?

1. Improvement to combinations and grades
We learned that almost everyone wanted to see more specific enhancements given by enhancement crystals.
To achieve that, a great number of people suggested that you should be able to raise the grade of crystals by combining multiple crystals to create new ones.

2. Aesthetic effects
We were told that players want to see a change in the color and visual effect of the pieces of equipment that have special or valuable crystals attached.

3. Upgrade to the slot window in the equipment window
We received comments saying that players want to see an upgraded character info window(P hotkey) interface, to accommodate the addition of crystal slots for accessories, shoes and gloves.

4. Enhancement crystal storage
We also received suggestions regarding convenience. We found out that players want to see the addition of an enhancement crystal-only bank storage and inventory bag in order to make sorting and storage easier.

5. Et cetera
We received various miscellaneous suggestions such as the addition of creating of enhancement crystals and the addition of element endowing.

We'd once more like to thank all of our discussion's participants for their useful suggestions. We hope that you will participate in the upcoming 39th discussion.

Good day, this is Lime.

First of all we'd like to thank all of you who participated in the discussion regarding group duels during the past two weeks.

The participants of the discussion gave us great feedback on how to make the Group Duel system a fun part of the game, no matter where or when you want to participate in a duel. We've summarized the most interesting suggestions for you.

What do you want to see in TERA's Group Duel system?

1. Bet amount restriction and receiving bonuses
We have been told that being able to set a lower limit for the amount of money that participants can bet in group duels and adding bonuses to the winning team will increase the incentive to participate.

2. Setting restrictions on the battle area and the length of the battle
In the current Group Duel system there are several points that have been pointed out as disappointing.
We're adding options to restrict the battle area and to change the time limit to change some of them.

3. Addition of different battle modes
We've received word that players want to see various battle modes in the group duel system. We were also told that in order to be more fun, various battle items should temporarily spawn during group duels.

4. Increasing the fun of spectating
You told us that it would be fun if duel spectators were not only be able to view the duel from a distance, but also be able to place bets on contestants between each other.

5. Addition of a balancing system
We received word that to make for a fair fight, it would be good if participants could use a balancing system when both parts agree to it, which would balance out the two teams for a fair fight.

Your passionate comments have definitely reached our development team. We're very much looking forward to the day when we can allow everyone to experience the world of TERA.

We would like to thank all of the participants of the past discussion and ask for your cooperation in the 35th upcoming discussion about our website's functionality.

Thank you very much.

Summary of UI Suggestions from the Official Korean Site!

Good Evening, TERA Fans! Back on March 23, Korean CM Lime posted a summary of the results of a large discussion topic among the Korean community on TERA's user interface (UI). We've got the translation for you today, thanks to our fantastic translation duo, Meiellink and Locien!

The summary touches on the popular idea to allow the game's UI to be user-moddable and very customizable. This is not the first time this idea has beenn discussed, as one or two intrviews with En Masse Entertainment have revealed that the company is considering allowing add-ons in TERA. How do you think a custom UI affects gameplay, especially in a game like TERA?

Let me know and enjoy the translation!

Good day, this is lime.

First of all, we'd like to thank everyone who participated in the UI discussion we held last week.

TERA's UI is designed to be as versatile as possible. By pressing a configured key you can hide it and by pressing the alt or escape keys you can switch in and out of the UI and movement modes.

In addition to the already existing UI we received suggestions how to improve it even further. Once again we would like to say that we're glad you participated in the discussion.

What kind of UI features would you like to see?

1. A wide selection of UIs
We've been told that people would like to be able to change the colors of the UI, adjust its opacity, have individual UI skins for each race and the ability to choose from different UI skins. We were also told that some people want to be able to create their own UI skins to use.

2. Basic UI layout change
We have been told that people want the basic layout to change a bit to be easier to see. Many of you have suggested possible improvements.

3. A UI with only the most important information
We've been told that people would like to see a new UI mode, similar to the "hidden UI mode" (toggled with Ctrl+Z), showing only the most important information. In addition to this it has been suggested that you should be able to switch through several UI modes with a simple press of a key, so that you will be able to use the most appropriate UI in accordance to the situation.

4. Comments about specific parts of the UI
There were a lot of players who commented on specific components of the UI.

- Being able to adjust the size and opacity of the HP and MP gauge. It was also
suggested that different classes should have differently colored MP bars according to the nature of them.

- It was suggested that more features should be added to the compass to make it more useful.

- It was also suggested that more features should be added to the Homunculus window to make it
more versatile.

- It was suggested that you should be able to adjust the opacity of the chat windows.
(Changing the text color is already possible through the chat window options.)

- It was suggested that the shortcut UI should be improved further.

5. Being able to toggle UI with configured keybinds
There was a suggestion to add the ability to configure keybinds in the systems options to toggle various parts of the UI on and off more quickly.

Due to the overwhelming response we've received, it's impossible for us to summarize all of your suggestions, but we're grateful of your participation in the discussions because it helps us understand what you want to see and what we need to reconsider ^^

Once again we would like to thank you for your contribution in the discussion. Next up is the 31st discussion which will encompass character growth, we hope you will participate in it.

Thank you very much.

If you haven't taken a look at TERA's UI recently, you can find screenshots and information on the current UI in the TERA Fans wiki's User Interface article!
