Good Morning, TERA Fans! Today the TERA world is buzzing with the news that
Frogster International, a European MMORPG publishing company, has obtained the license to publish TERA in Europe.
Currently, Frogster International publishes
Runes of Magic,
Bounty Bay Online,
The Chronicles of Spellborn, and
StoneAge 2 in Europe. Though the company is known for handling Free-to-Play games, the press release states that TERA will be using a subscription based model.
Though En Masse Entertainment has not officially commented on this development yet, Frogster International's press release includes comments by Frogster's CEO Christoph Gerlinger, where he states, "We see the licensing of this revolutionary online world as one of the largest deals and milestones in Frogster’s corporate history”.
Also, while it is currently unknown whether this is official or not, members of the official TERA forums have located what appears to be the
official European site for TERA.

Frogster Interactive Pictures AG, international publisher of massively multiplayer online games with headquarters in Berlin and subsidiaries in Berlin, San Francisco and Seoul, has secured the license for the publishing of ‘TERA’ in Europe. Frogster brings the highly ambitious online role play game by Bluehole Studio Inc. to Europe. The developer founded in 2007 in South Korea has gathered countless talents from the world-leading Korean online games industry in order to create a new generation of online games.
Already at the major computer games show Electronic Entertainment Exposition (E3) in June, ‘TERA’ caused a big stir with its spectacular real-time battles and impressive “next-generation” graphics. In 2011, ‘TERA’ shall be launched in Europe with a German, English and French version customized for the western market.
TERA – An online game world to set new standards in the genre
A huge and highly-detailed virtual world with triple-A quality claim awaits thousands of players with ‘TERA’. Entirely developed in Unreal Engine 3, ‘TERA’ transcends current representatives of the genre with breathtaking 3D graphical environments, thrilling animations and spectacular effects.
