Love the laptop
I bought this laptop to substitute my older laptop which is now showing signs of age. I like the 1080p resolution of the screen and use this laptop to play Blu-ray discs and watch Netflix streaming. I also connect this to my bedroom TV through the HDMI output port. I am loving the laptop thus far.

Truffaut’s film and the modern from which it is adapted have both been misunderstood for too long. To open with, you have to understand that Bradbury’s novels, plays, and chronicle are almost always allegorical – so you have to behold for meanings on more than one level. Truffaut’s film of Fahrenheit 451 captures all of the allegorical levels of the fresh. To explain: One of the many reasons human beings read and write books is because we have a deep need to know if our inner experiences are shared by others – this need can only be answered within the context of an intimate relationship, either with another human being or with a book, which allows us to voice or to be revealed as we are. The more the Site controls the exhaust of language, the more we are controlled. In Bradbury’s current the Region effectively limits intimacy by forbidding books; and since the only reference to reality is dictated by the Dwelling, what can Montag or his wife know of fancy? How intimate can their relationship be? Fahrenheit 451 is a myth about a man who has conformed completely to external reality; or has he? Can anyone really sell their soul to the Place? Truffaut’s film beautifully articulates the record, atmosphere, and themes of Bradbury’s unusual, as Montag unconsciously – as if sleepwalking – begins to stack the kindling, dry wood, and fuel of his dehumanized existence for the moment when his creative energy can no longer be contained and his life bursts into flames. Peep, also, how Bernard Herrman’s procure evokes these images of somnambulism, fire building, and spontaneous combustion. The rest, of course, is a yarn of rebirth, of the phoenix rising from the ashes – the victory of creative passion over Set control. To summarize, 451 synergizes the epic of a man’s mid-life crisis with the crisis of repression of human values represented by McCarthyism. Price well: you have to give yourself over to this film in order to really devour it – the film requires a meditative site of mind and empathic response. Montag finds that he can no longer simply function as a cog in a machine – he needs to be loved for himself. Clearly, the literal or analytically minded will not “rep” this film; neither will the romantically inclined. It’s a film about wholeness, about not allowing yourself to be fragmented, or having parts of yourself chopped off by external forces. You have to bring your total self to it. It’s a film about actually living through your worst life crisises, learning from them, and determining your occupy draw of life, instead of doping and drugging yourself with memory killers devised by the Spot. In short, seek the film and make your believe conception – you dont need the concensus or unfounded reassurance of a film critic or other idiot in order to live your have life.

Fahrenheit 451 is the temperature at which book paper will burn. It is the basis for the premise of this film, which is based upon the Ray Bradbury’s classic sci-fi fresh of the same name. The film takes the viewer to a stark future in which firemen originate fires rather than keep them out. Their main mission appears to be to root out books, wherever they may be found, and burn them. Those who harbor books in their home are breaking the law and are subject to arrest by the set. The written word is simply forbidden.

Oskar Werner plays the role of Guy Montag, a fireman who is married to a fair air-head named Linda, who spends her days popping pills, while glued to a wall hide TV. Played with appropriate bubble-brained inertia by the talented Julie Christie, this is unbiased one of the dual roles she plays in this film. The other role is that of Clarisse, a would be school teacher and seeming misfit in that society, as she actually likes to talk about ideas, the very reason that books are forbidden. It seems that books are looked upon as giving people ideas, which is viewed by the site as a mechanism for making people depressed with their lot.

When Clarisse singles out Montag for conversation, he is intrigued by the fact that she is generous of independent understanding. It is not long before he, too, like those whose books he has burned, is also, to his wife’s horror, hoarding books. She feels that Montag is simply sucking the fun out of her life. Clarisse and Montag accomplish an alliance of sorts, as his world comes tumbling down. Betrayed by his conformist wife Linda, Montag joins the ranks of fugitive book lovers, hunted by the very firemen with whom he served. These fugitives are not known by their names, but rather, by the title of the book to which they have committed to memory, in hopes that one day the world will once again be ready to earn that which they have committed to memory.

The film has a stark, futuristic quality about it. Symbolism is rampant throughout the film. The homes of those who hoard books are often homes that are cozy and reminiscent of homes of our book loving society today, while those of people who are with the program are stark and wintry. The all dark uniforms primitive by the firemen are reminiscent of those faded by the storm troopers of Nazi Germany. The actions of the firemen, as they search for those who would hoard books, as well as the search for the books themselves, are also reminiscent of the search by the Nazis for those who would harbor those who were deemed undesirable under the Nazi regime, as well as the search for undesirables themselves. Oskar Werner’s German accents underscores this imagery.

This is Francois Truffaut’s first and only foray into the direction of an English language film. He himself was co-writer of the screenplay, which is perhaps why the imagery seems to supercedes the dialogue. There are many stylistic flourishes throughout the film. Ray Bradbury’s, “The Martian Chronicles”, is one of the books seen to be burning. It is also one of the books that a fugitive has committed to memory. Newspapers in the film consist of pictures only. Even the opening credits of the film are in keeping with the premise of the film that the written word is forbidden. As such, the opening credits are spoken. Moreover, Bernard Herrmann’s edgy obtain certainly adds to the bleak, futuristic feel of the film. This is a film that those who enjoyed the recent upon which the film is based should behold.

I’ve been a Fogerty fan for a million years it seems, befriend to his CCR days. This is an awesome concert and what a admire to have it on DVD. Fabulous that it covers the entire spectrum of his career.

Wow. It is truly racy to examine John Fogerty and band play through this status of Fogerty and CCR classics, as well as a few well-chosen covers. Fogerty jumps around the stage with such joy that it’s contagious. His converse is in incredible shape and his guitar chops are more impressive than ever. I highly recommend this concert video. In addition to sounding colossal, it’s visually delicate as well.

Powerful Amp A+
I have this amp paired with an Alpine R12 (4 ohm), and it is amazing. With the gain over 3/4, it is TOO POWERFUL for any kind of conversation in my 08 Civic.
I also bought a 1 Farad capacitor, because my headlights were dimming.
This amp has not cut out once, even in near 100 degree heat and bumpin’.
I recommend this amp because of it’s flawless performance, light price, active cooling, and heavy hitting power.
I am very impressed with this amp.

Power Mono Amp
This amp when bench tested at a 2 ohm configuration puts out about 600 real watts. If you know anything about car stereos, this REAL wattage is the only thing that matters, not what the amp manufacturers claim wattage to be. This amp doesnt get hot, and is a serious performer for the money. Class D means it is extremely efficient, and its a mono subwoofer amplifier. For those of you with small 4 cylinder engines and small alternators, yes your headlights will dim no matter what amp you put in there. Get a capacitor if you have a 4 cylinder motor. I have an S10 with a 4.3L V6, stock alternator rated at 110 Amps, and my headlights do not dim. I dont have a capacitor. This amp slams whatever is connected to it. For the money, you can not beat this amp.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS VENDOR!! HORRIBLE!!
When I saw the price of $125, I thought it was too good to be true since most other places were selling the COMPLETE lamp assembly for around $40-$50 more. Well, it was. This Vendor (Vann’s) displays a picture of the whole replacement lamp assembly (which is the normal part as per Sony), but they ship you ONLY the LAMP with no housing and no instructions and its not even a Sony lamp, some Osram P22H bulb you can buy online for less then $100. In addition, the box they ship it in has no protection whatsoever except for a little cardboard. I was planning to return this until I realized they charge a 20% restocking fee which was never disclosed in the listing for the product. Also, to install just the lamp requires ALOT of time and work to dissassemble the housing. NOT WORTH IT AT ALL!

Ordered this replacement bulb and it arrived quickly and was exactly as described. The complete unit (bulb and housing) was exactly what I was looking for and it was manufactured by Phillips. No issues with the ordering and it was at a great price.

After enjoying volume 1. Volume 2 seems to assume a tiny turn. This time we acquire a limited more chronicle leisurely Hell Girl, it seems Hell Girl is a shrimp more wicked in this particular volume. She seems to play a bigger role in finding the truth of some of the so called victims, but the biggest twist in this volume comes in the earn of a photographer and his daughter who seem to have taken survey of Hell Girls exploits. The daughter however has a special bond or relationship with Hell Girl that will hopefully play out more in the next volume. This volume was righteous, I hope to peep more of the fable tedious Hell Girl. Truly recommended.

After v.1 plot up the general plan of what a “Hell Girl” is, v.2 begins to flesh out the characters more and seems to start a storyline that goes beyond compartmentalized episodes.

Great product , fast shipping and easy installation
AEM 30-4100 UEGO was very easy to install. I had it up and running in no time and also made a RS232 wire as well as a Firewire IEEE 1394 (male to male) for dataloging. The RS232 was connected to a Hyper Terminal program found in Windows Xp(Only optional and was used to double check my formula in Live Link..I did not datalog by using both cable at the same time) . The IEEE 1394 cable was connected to a Xcal3 from SCT and used with Live Link to datalog more efficient. I hooked up the 12v cable for the gauge on a 12v ignition only wire on the car and a ground under the dash. Simple as that. Also has lights integrated in the 12v and ground circuit so you don’t have to mess with also hooking up the lights as in other gauges. Only downside is the Bosch O2 sensor ,which I have heard that they go bad pretty quick , especially if your car is running to rich .The cost for it is about $60.

Not worth it!!!!
Got the Yellow top for my van, thinking they are the best, and would last longer than my OEM did. 2 years. Well here I am 2 years later with a Top of the line battery, and it won’t hold a charge. Could have spent 1/2 the money or less, and pobably would still have a pro-rated battery warranty, or even still a viable battery. Time to go back to Sears I guess…Hope others have better luck….

Happy with Battery
This battery did everything I wanted. It powered my HDTV during tailgating for four hours and started the truck with no problem. Just what I was looking for.

Not worth the hype or the money
There’s a lot of un-due praise for Optima batteries. I believe their reputation is over deserving. Granted batteries don’t last long in Phoenix, I was expecting more than the 2 years I got out of my Yellow Top Optima; their capacity and life is not much different than cheaper quality batteries.

Negs:
- The warranty is very poor, nowhere near the level of the competition.
- I expected a quality deep cycle AGM to last a lot longer than just over 2 years.

Pros:
- Worked well under heavy current loads. I run 5 amplifiers that draw about 80-100 amps. The Optima helped buffer the headlight-dimming effect I used to have w/ my stock battery.

Overall a good battery, but at this heavy price I would expect a battery to have a warranty to back it up past 18 months and to last longer than 2 years. If you’re spending this much, check out the Diehard Platinum or others first, you’ll be glad you did.
